A message dated May 11, 2004, was read stating the Senate has failed                                
to concur in the House amendment to CSSB 338 (STA), namely:                                         
                                                                                                    
     CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 338(STA) am H                                                           
     "An Act relating to actionable claims against state employees; and                             
     providing for an effective date."                                                              
                                                                                                    
and respectfully requests the House to recede from its amendment.                                   
                                                                                                    
In the event the House fails to recede, the President appointed the                                 
following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like                                   
committee from the House to consider the bills:
